2021 Freestone Strains (non-feminised)
SATIVAS
2021 was the year of the Sativas for Freestone Genetics. Our primary goal was to cross a variety of elite outdoor sativa cultivars that we had been holding tightly for some time. With the ever shrinking landrace and orginal cannabis seed market, we took the time to create some very special sativa crosses to ensure our bank maintains these gems.
Every year we look for qualified individuals to grow or hunt our genetics!! INTERESTED IN BEING A TEST-GROWER?

Our Caker strain came to us 100% by chance and was never expected to ever crack our line-up. We came upon this strain thru some excellent craft cannabis from British Columbia in 2018. This flavor powerhouse has serious California lineage - Wedding Cake (Triangle Mints #23) x Mendobreath (Cherry Pie Kush x Mendo Montage). A single seed was collected from the purchased flower, and produced a very unique and robust mother (pics below), that was 100% sun-grown to finish in Southern Ontario. Over 300 clones were taken from her in spring of 2021. She has been preserved thru clone, reversal, and cross breeding with our two best outdoor males, Bush Jam and Huron Haze.
Several test growers have this outdoor in 2021 and will weigh in on their findings this Fall. Indoor results have exceeded all expectations. These genetics will be available by spring 2022. Stay tuned! urbandictionary.com -

Frenchy was so much more than just a well respected Master Hashishan, he was loved for his honesty and desire to teach his skill and techniques to the masses. Frenchy affected many people in a variety of different ways. We at Freestone were so excited to finally get a chance to meet the man we had shared many messages with but sadly Covid-19 prevented his Toronto appearances on several occasions. Nonetheless, as we forge ahead with our own endeavors, our hash work will undoubtedly reflect his timeless influence. His works can be found all over the internet:

That is what defines a true LEGEND. RIP Friend Professional solventless extraction services in Ontario Canada.

We have spent the past several years resurrecting a strain that has skunk origins from 1990 and is bred for the Canadian environment. All parental lineage was climatized in the fertile farmland of Huron County bordering Lake Huron, hence its name. This nearly pure sativa finishes flowering in late September and contains no Haze, despite its name, which is more a moniker of the cool and often damp climate it was created for. A medium to large plant that thrives in cooler climates, adverse conditions and finishes late September.
Freestone's Proprietary Sativa strain began with an original Skunk strain acquired in 1990 from a hydroponics grower in Hamilton Ontario. Around '98 the Skunk was crossed with a short Highland pure sativa strain(Nepalese) for vigor and a shorter plant structure. The Proprietary Sativa was then backcrossed until a homogenous medium self-supporting sativa structure was the primary phenotype by 2003. The strain was grown sporadically until 2018 when it was crossed with another similar Highland sativa strain with the desired growth period and structure we needed to turn out a unique cold-weather nearly pure sativa strain. This cross was a purple highland sativa also known for its pest resistance and ability to thrive in cold climates. On a rare instance the skunk phenotype shows itself. HURON HAZE Type: Sativa Hybrid Lineage: (Skunk1 x Nepalese Highland) X (Nepalese Highland x Oaxacan) Sativa / Indica: 90% Sativa Flowering indoors: 8-9 weeks Flowering outdoors: Begins late July, ends late September Structure: Phenotype I = Medium Sativa, Phenotype II = Med to Tall needing no support Bouquet: Sweet cherry/grape and mothball scents, sour berry and fruit flavors THC: ~19-23% Yield: High Below is a snapshot of the Ontario Cannabis Laws.
